There are various land-based wildlife tours, originating in Craignure, all to be recommended. A sea trip to Staffa is not to be missed – a half day from Fionnphort, or a full day, (including enjoying the puffins on Lunga) from Ulva Ferry.
Mull has great beaches, at Calgary, Lochbuie and Uisken, to name but three.
Get to Iona early in the day, or stay late, to savour its peaceful atmosphere.
Retail therapy in Tobermory, taking in the new Marine Visitor Centre at the harbour, along with a visit to Glengorm, is not to be missed.
