Travelling to Mull is relatively straightforward. Caledonian MacBrayne operate three ferry crossings from mainland Scotland to Mull – Oban to Craignure (45 minutes), Lochaline to Fishnish (20 minutes) and Kilchoan to Tobermory (35 minutes). Oban is the main port serving Mull and several Inner and Outer Hebridean Islands, and is worth stopping to explore and appreciate for its own attractions – great shopping and fantastic places to eat. www.oban.org.uk

BY BUS
Coaches run frequently to Oban from Glasgow Buchanan Street Bus Station. For further details see www.citylink.co.uk or call VisitScotland Tourist Information Centre in Craignure who can help you book tickets – tel 01680 812377
